First off, this album is inspired by and dedicated to The Caretaker (Leyland James Kirby.)

Comprised of a selection of old 45s, "Looming over persistence" dives into themes of longing and displacement though low-fidelity horns and string sections from forgotten records from a past lifetime, a past era long forgotten to the current youth. An album like this cannot be sourced from the internet like many may believe is possible. It's a surreal experience digging through old record crates and finding forgotten gems that incapsulate a theme so perfectly, I hope you find some sort of comfort and/or interest in the nuances hidden beneath the somber loops presented here.
